no mo’ nanowrimo

So this is how it ends — not with a bang but with a whimper. That sounds so pretentious doesn’t it, hehe.

I don’t have any excuses. I really meant to make one hell of an endgame run, but I’ve been sick since Sunday afternoon and I have to finally admit I can’t do it. I tried to write last night, but I only managed 428 words for Chapter 6 of The Maharlika Legacy. It’s arguable if I could have done it otherwise, but it’s no use thinking of what ifs.

Congrats to Dean, who finished Salamanca in 29 days. I’ll be one of the first in line to have my copy of Salamanca autographed once it’s published. And congrats to banzai cat, Vin, Kat and all the other Filipino writers who participated in NaNoWriMo. I wish I could have done better, but it’s an unforgettable experience and I don’t regret taking part in this.

Read the last 428 words (for now) of The Maharlika Legacy.

  1. hey, joey! remember the “arrogant reporters who think they know everything” in my blog? i just found out last week that one turned out to be a fake PDI reporter! he was featured in the Editor’s Rant section of PDI two Sundays ago.
